ENGLISH ACTIVITIES

Hello everyone!!!

In a subject in the univerty we did a series of activities designed for children to work in English with the verb to be: respect, relationships, routines, rules, rewards…

I and my group of work did a activities that work routines, respect, relationships, rewards for good work, rules and all of them practicing the verb to be.

 First of all, we have to explain to the students the activity clearly and with simple vocabulary so the  students can understand well the activity.

Obviously, the teacher will have to help and guide students in the activity.

The first activity was a song that name is “Hello Hello”. This song is to practice routines and respect and as you can see the tense is to be.

The name of the second activity is “ALL ABOUT ME”

The activity is about students that have to explain who they are and something about them.

For this activity the teacher with the help of one student have to give a card with questions about their likes that students have complete. After this the students have to present their self to the other classmates.

Then when all students have submitted themselves will distribute to each student randomly pictures of one of his collage.

Respecting the turn, the teacher asked one by one to present the person has in photography with the help of which appears in the picture, I mean, the student have to ask things about what will be exposed before himself for example: What is your favourite color? And the person who has the picture answer your favourite color is pink for exemple.

If the answer is right will give a reward for doing so well.

This activity serves to practice the verb to be and also to practice relationships and rewards.

Finally, the a third activity consists that the teacher put in the blackboard  a serie of images on different actions and ask what is right and what not for do it. why? and when they do that often?. 

Once commented pictures and selected the correct rules we make with the students a space in class with pictures to remind children the rules.

Also we can put more every month.

All this is to practice the rules of class and the verb to be.

MY FAVOURITE TEACHER

To start my blog I will talk about my favorite teacher.  

His name was Lourdes. It was my tutor at Bachelor.

She was a very nice, friendly, very closely with students.

His classes were fun, explained things very clearly, always resolved all doubts, it was impossible to get bored in their classes.

If you didn’t  understand something, she stayed after class to explain it and didn’t care that it took time to explain it just she wanted all his students would learn.

I remember I gave my wrong text commentary and she stayed with me every Monday and Wednesday to explain it. It was a great help to me.

Also remember that many times after school we were going to have a coffee and talked extracurricular things. It was a profesorsa that cared so much about the student personally and for his studies.

You could always count on her for everything, you always gave their support and trying to give you advice and solutions to all type of school problems and personal.

Everyone we considered as an example of good teacher.

And thanks for here help I was able to pass the course and the selective. Many of their advice served me well.

I always will remember with affection and respect and i hopefully as a teacher can be like her.

THE MAGIC OF LEARNING

Hello, my name is Lidia, I am in the third year of a teaching degree.

This is my first blog post I am going to create about education in English language.

Taking advantage of this year I'm doing educational practices in a school whose students are children without resources and with considerable delay escolorar'll approach it in a different manner to the level that would be required at these ages.

The goal I want to achieve through this blog is to create and find educational resources and activities to motivate these children to learn the English language and also i want to tell my experience as a teacher and share different activities we do in college.
